Haney House Haney House was built by Thomas Haney for his family in the late 1800s. It sits in what used to be a town called Port Haney (now part of Maple Ridge), founded by the Haneys. The historic house and orchard gardens have been restored and are open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm. Hours are extended in the summer months. Maple Ridge Museum & Archives The museum is located on the Fraser River in the Port Haney neighbourhood. Learn about local history of First Nations, the life of early settlers, and our industrial heritage. Archives are accessible by appointment. One feature is a model railway diorama of Port Haney circa 1926.
